It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed—and how many wonderful people have walked through our doors since Homestay-Vancouver.com began.

Today, we’re celebrating our 16th anniversary, and more importantly, we’re celebrating the community that made it possible: students, young professionals, visiting families, and guests from around the world who chose to call our home “home,” even if just for a chapter.

How it all started
Homestay-Vancouver.com was created with a simple idea:
people who are new to Vancouver deserve more than just a room—they deserve a place where they can settle, study, rest, and feel safe.
Over the years, we’ve met guests arriving with big dreams and nervous hearts: international students stepping into a new school system, interns starting their first job in Canada, and travelers discovering Vancouver for the first time. Many came as strangers and left as friends.

What 16 years has taught us
